Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR] has now become an integral part of just about every commercial venture - to the point where the bigger companies are now legally bound to report on how they have discharged their responsibilities. And, who has demanded this level of reporting? - why government of course; yet you don't have to scratch too deeply to see a significant case for government to examine its own record.
